Constantinople Act (original text in Catalonian)

This artwork was specially made to participate in the calligraphic contest of Barcelona, Spain. It was awarded with the first mention and was cover for catalogues and invitations.

The artwork is structured in two sections: a dark surface to the left which represents the Turkish side where the text resembles arabic scripts and a center panel with earthy colours where the text is repeated in a Bastard Gothic style, used in spanish manuscripts of that time.

In this panel the gestures are powerful and violent because they represent the struggle and fight between the two contenders.
